East of the Rockies is a community-driven jam band from the Twin Cities blending fiddle, mandolin, guitar, keys, and bass. We play Chill Grass — bluegrass, folk, and Americana with an improvisational groove. We're not just musicians, we're connectors in the Twin Cities jam scene.
East of the Rockies (EOTR) is a jam band rooted in the Twin Cities music community. We started jamming together and it stuck.
We all play in other bands and regularly attend or host bluegrass, folk, and open-circle sessions around Minnesota. Our music blends traditional roots instruments with improvisational energy — we call it Chill Grass. The sound comes from all the different places we play and the people we play with.
We're not just musicians — we're connectors. Music is participatory, and our roots are in the jam community itself. We believe music grows best when shared.
